The cardinal objective of the Nigerian Bar Association is to defend the integrity and independence of the bar and bench in Nigeria. Alloyed to this is the promotion of the welfare, security and economic advancement of members. The NBA cannot hope to achieve its objectives without an efficient and effective bar secretariat.
I have solemnly considered the office of General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (‘NBA’) and the duties associated therewith. I pledge to pursue an Agenda of Core Pursuits which encompasses the duties of the General Secretary as enshrined in the NBA Constitution 2015 (as amended), and further expands those duties in a manner that edifies the office of the General Secretary and benefits the Association.
